| Please thank your staff; they are all so
gracious and accommodating. The gentleman at the front desk and
the dinner staff in the evenings are always so cheerful and
willing to help. We are so blessed to have found you.

Being an experienced international traveler, I would have to
say that my experience staying at the Humuya Inn was the best
while traveling in Honduras. I found the Humuya Inn to have the
intimacy of a bed & breakfast, the convenient amenities of a
modern hotel, and the informal hospitality of staying with
family. Each of my week-long stays at the Humuya Inn made my
time in Tegucigalpa very comfortable, my work much more
relaxing, and helped me to connect with Honduran culture. I
always felt very welcomed, cared for, and safe at the Humuya Inn
and very much enjoyed my stays.

| The H.I. has an unusual quality of making you
feel at home, a great relief if this is your first visit to
Tegucigalpa and a reliable promise of relaxation and ease on
subsequent trips. Appealing dark wood furnishings and a pleasant
leafy courtyard with trickling fountain add to the sense that
this is an enclave ideal for those who wish to work, study or
merely dissociate themselves from the capital's heat, dust and
fuss. Barbara K., Mexico City, Mexico
Everything we wanted and more. This week has been wonderful
and it was a real pleasure to be here.

"If you're looking for a quiet, friendly boutique hotel with
all the personal touches, you'll love the Humuya Inn."

As a woman missionary traveling alone to Honduras recently, I
was referred to the Inn while making plans to stay a few days in
Tegucigalpa. Scott Crook and the friendly Humuya Inn staff made
my entire stay both worry-free and enjoyable.
During the comfortable stay in my spacious and secure room,
the Inn provided English speaking hosts, delicious meals in a
lush courtyard setting, beautifully decorated sitting areas,
easy access to their large rooftop terrace overlooking the city,
and ready transportation to my appointments.
I highly recommend the Humuya Inn to anyone traveling to
Honduras. You will be delighted with the facilities, staff, and
setting. Celestine E. , Little
Rock, Arkansas
The Humuya Inn is not just a place to stay. Scott Crook and
his staff take care of you in Honduras. As a North American with
little language proficiency, the Humuya Inn staff is a welcome
relief when one is lost or confused by culture. The amenities
are nothing like a regular hotel: large comfortable couches,
bookshelves, a grand veranda overlooking the city, and lush
courtyard. Yet the regular hotel things exist: air conditioning,
room service, free wireless Internet, gift shop, and comfortable
beds! The Humuya is extremely reasonable in price and value.
